Darin Stewart is the primary author of the Humanist Spirit blog. He is a certified Humanist Celebrant credentialed by the Humanist Society and the American Humanist Association.
Professionally, he is a Research Analyst working in the areas of search and semantic technologies including machine learning, text analytics and natural language processing. He holds a Ph.D. in Information Science.
Dr. Stewart is also a lecturer in Applied Information Management for the University of Oregon. He is the author of numerous technical publications and the book "Building Enterprise Taxonomies"
He lives with his family in the Portland, Oregon area.
